Privacy Policy

Keel is built for maintainers who need control over their review context. This policy describes the limited data used during the founding pre-release.

What we collect

Stripe processes payment information. Keel receives purchaser email, Stripe payment reference, and optional project name or GitHub username supplied through checkout.

What we do not collect

Keel does not store payment-card numbers, CVCs, or Stripe credentials in the desktop application. The GPLv3 desktop does not contain Stripe code.

Repository and AI data

Repository content, contributor email, and review evidence are not sent to an AI provider without an explicit maintainer request and a workspace policy permitting it. Keel does not train models on customer data by default.

Retention and deletion

Contact data is used for purchase fulfillment and launch communication. Request deletion at hello@keel.review; payment records may be retained where legally required.
